Whilst delivering a first-class service you will help manage the day-to-day operational movements of the Transport Fleet at depot level, working within the legal and compliance framework laid down by regulatory bodies and within company policies. You will assist the Transport manager to achieve full compliance at depot level.

National Heavy plant Company require plant fitter.

Our client is seeking HGV/Plant mechanics/fitters to start as soon as possible. 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday with overtime on offer for Saturday cover from 0600-1200. Operational hours are between 0600 - 1700 with the technicians/fitters on a rotation to cover the operation within their contracted hours.

In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores. Our Class 2 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be a physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions and handballing product at some of the delivery points.

Our client is seeking an HGV vehicle inspector to start as soon as possible. 45hrs per week, Monday to Friday with overtime on offer daily and weekends. Core operational hours are between 0600 - 1700 with this particular position, hours being flexible.
Carrying out vehicle safety and Pre- MOT inspections as the core function, occasionally supporting the fleet workshop with any high priority VORs. You will be a meticulous individual who has excellent attention to detail and can follow simple processes correctly. The position requires excellent housekeeping of key compliance documentation and a good knowledge of DVSA and VOSA standards. The position will require a good working relationship with the workshop clerk/stores person to ensure all documentation is in line with company process.
