Service Technician



Our client is recruiting for Technicians who are required to work on a large variety of equipment, including safety, survey, communications and electrical testing items.

The test and measurement sector is a rapidly-growing part of the business, including Jofra, Megger and similar brands.

Technician Level 2 would be expected to be able to calibrate, service and repair a variety of safety, survey and communications equipment, in line with manufacturers’ requirements.

About the Role

-Able to test and run all survey equipment in line with OEM requirements.

  • Has undergone OEM training on several items of essential and Core equipment to servicing level and can demonstrate a track record in servicing this equipment.
  • Ability to fully service a limited amount of both hire and customer equipment across a variety of manufacturers and does this to a consistent high standard.
  • Able to use third party software to record servicing, consumption of spare parts and can obtain and interpret technical information provided.
  • Able to provide an end user with information around the safe operation of equipment in line with the operating guide for that equipment.

-Ability to make accurate assessments of the time required to complete servicing activities.

-Able to identify upcoming spare part shortages and equipment in correct status.

The Must-Haves

Traceable Leica, Trimble or Topcon Certification. Levels and Lasers or other manufacturer equivalent 

Although not a must have:

Leica Key Knowledge course or equivalent
