Our client is looking for Senior Technicians who are required to work on a large variety of equipment, including safety, survey, communications and electrical testing items.

Survey equipment includes and high-end Leica, Trimble and Topcon surveying equipment. The test and measurement sector is a rapidly-growing part of the business, including Jofra, Megger and similar brands.

A senior technician (Level 3) would be expected to be able to calibrate, service and repair high end equipment to manufacturer standards.

About the Role

Has undergone OEM training for all relevant essential, core and extended equipment to servicing level and can demonstrate a track record in servicing this equipment.
Proactively expand knowledge by identifying other items that are similar to existing own equipment.
Able to undertake supervisory monitoring of other Technicians whilst operating within a defined management structure.
Abel to fully service both hire and customer equipment across several asset types and manufacturers to a consistently high standard.
Able to use third party software to an advanced level and has strong level of record keeping which is supported through periodic stock checking.
Able to provide end user with information around the safe operation of the equipment and can provide remote assistance with technical queries.
Able to peer review work completed by other Technicians and able to suggest improvements to process that are carried out by other Technicians.
Able to make accurate assessments of the time required to complete repairs.
Able to identify upcoming spare part shortages, equipment in incorrect status and work with third party systems where required.
The Must-Haves

Traceable Leica, Trimble or Topcon training certification. Leica Key Knowledge, Levels & Lasers, TPS & GPS or other manufacturer equivalent
