Are you a skilled Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) Engineering Technician (mechanical or electrical) looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a dedicated and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team at our engineering depots in Selby. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our passenger transport fleet, ensuring we deliver reliable service to thousands of customers every day.

About the Role:

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our diverse fleet of passenger service vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 🛠️
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to the highest standards.
Conducting safety inspections and ensuring all vehicles comply with legal and company regulations.
Using diagnostic equipment and specialist tools to troubleshoot complex issues.
Accurately documenting all maintenance and repair work.
What We're Looking For:

We require a candidate who has a proven track record of working with passenger service vehicles. You must have:

Significant, demonstrable experience as an Engineer, electrician or Technician in a PSV environment.
A relevant qualification in motor vehicle engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
A solid understanding of PSV systems, including air braking, and vehicle electronics.
A commitment to health and safety protocols.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
