£22,000 - £27,000
Our client, in tandem with government and the broader employment support community across the UK is working hard to make sure we support as many individuals as possible to get and keep a job. We believe that everyone who needs help and support to attain their employment goals should be able to access it as soon as possible and that support should reflect their individual needs.
To help us in this mission we are looking to expand our employability services and looking for Vacancy Coordinators to work on our DWP Work & Health Programme Job Entry – Targeted Support (WHP JETS) Programme.
As a WHP JETS Vacancy Coordinator you will be providing support to the Employer Account Manager Team, the Employment Advisor teams and our Network Delivery Partners to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals, by applying for appropriate roles and training. This will be mainly delivered remotely via phone, video conference and other digital channels.
The role holder will be expected to work closely with our Operations Network Delivery Partner, Employment Advisor and Employer Account Manager teams to identify and refer suitable participants to vacancies and Sector Routeways. They would also identify and support participants to apply for vacancies available in the local area, working with our Network Delivery Partners. The role holder will be required to build strong relationships with our Network Delivery Partners to understand their offerings and subsequently identify appropriate interventions for our participants to be referred to whilst applying for roles. The role may also involve re-building participant confidence and self-efficacy following a period on unemployment.
The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues within Central England and Home Counties regions and able to maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the benefit system and entitlements.
Our client operates on a national level with over 2,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers. We work with the government, local authorities, combined authorities, health service providers, employers, and other stakeholders – including the Education and Skills Funding Agency, Department for Work and Pensions, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts.
The ideal candidate will need to be inclusive and embrace our culture and values, putting those we serve at the heart of everything we do. You will consistently deliver high quality services to support our communities and beneficiaries in a fast-paced target driven environment. Additionally an understanding of government funded employment programmes such as the Work and Health Programme would be an advantage.

This role will be working with participants across:
