Our client, one of Europe’s largest and most trusted plastic card issuing partners, is looking to add a Quality Technician to its team.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Adhere to all documented Company Quality System Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures when carrying out duties

Handle customer complaints that are related to final product quality

Report on quality measurement indices

Approve finished product at final batch release stage 

Improve the standard of internal processes by using information collected from operations and then applying problem solving techniques

Carry out internal testing in line with departmental instructions

Ensure the activities of the QC environment meet with and integrate with the organisational requirement for Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety Regulations, Legal Stipulations, Regulations, Environmental Policies, Objectives and General Duty of Care

Follow all of the aspects of the corrective action process and procedures.

Ensure that all aspects of the internal audit processes and procedures are followed in a timely and professional manner.

Ensure that the QMS policies and procedures are carried out in line with the Quality Plan


Understanding of ISO standards

Experience of working within a Quality Department is essential

Knowledge of measurement and Quality process

Understanding manufacturing processes

Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment

GCSE or Equivalent Level Education, 

Desirable -BTec first certificate or equivalent, NVQ level 2 qualification

Commitment to always work towards professional manner

Previous manufacturing experience would be advantageous
