Our client provides the full range of facilities management services, encompassing both hard and soft facilities management, they are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor


Complete a series of workplace audits and inspections in accordance with a defined plan, and produce timely reports.

Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the contract regarding the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).

Support the operational team in accident / incident investigations in accordance with procedure.

Consult and participate in HSW committee meetings and other forums to develop an injury free environment (IFE)

Carry out pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and tender enquiries.

Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, such as trade contractors, suppliers, clients to enhance HSW performance.

Training delivery and the development of training material.

Participate in the Building Services internal audit plan and support 3rd party certification exercises.

Contribute to the wider HS&W enabling functions performance.

In scope number of inspections and audits completed and documented. Reports produced, detailing remedial actions which are communicated to relevant parties. Keep managers informed on findings/ themes/ trends and monitor the close out of actions.

Compliance with HSMS identified through audits.

Records of briefings on the management of subcontractors including the development of TBTs. Compliance with the procedure identified through audits and inspections.

Good relationships with key stakeholders established with a clear mutual understanding of aims.

Quality learning material developed and delivered as per set timeframes

Participate in monthly HSW team meeting. Share best practice and provide support/advice to other HSW Advisors.

  • Previous experience in facilities management/ building services/ construction arena
  • Hold a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate
  • IOSH Membership – GradIOSH or CMIOSH
  • Holds the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or is already working towards the NEBOSH


  • Auditing qualification – desirable
