To do so they need to find an ambitious applicant, who is hard-working, happy to work in a team and away from home, and up for the challenge.
They are looking for a Pipework Engineer to work as part of its on-site engineering team. The position will require the successful candidate to assist in completing jobs ranging from small, one-off jobs to projects valued at hundreds of thousands of pounds. The works required of the successful candidate will not be restricted to pipe-fitting but may also involve civil and other works as necessary. The candidate should have good computer skills and be able to read AUTOCAD, a significant part of the job relies on the ability of the candidate to read technical documentation. On the job training will be provided but proven experience and qualifications as a pipefitter is required
Role details• Installation and removal of pipework, tanks and pumping systems• Problem solving• Commissioning of installations• Working in teams reporting to Contract/ Project Manager to complete engineering projects• Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed deadlines and costs whilst meeting contractual requirements to commercial, technical and safety standards• Supporting Civils and Electrical Engineers• Complying with RAMS and health and safety at all times (working to strict requirements)
Experience and qualifications required:Essential Requirements• Pipe fitting experience• Full, clean driving licence• Be capable of obtaining (or already have) high level security clearances• Strong work ethic and willing to learn from others• Happy to work away from home during working week• Competent in working to RAMS• Experienced or capable of working to high standard of H&S requirements including 5 point PPE
