To manage a number of integrated material handling equipment projects, from contract through to final handover, as required within the confines of scope, budget and time in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
Assist, advise and liaise with others during the pre-contractual development of design, working to agreed Company process and standards.
Provide applied best practice and support to Design and Proposals teams as required (i.e. support of proposals team; support of Engineering Manager; value engineering support; support of BDM team; liaise with customers; outline project programming; review project assumptions; handover meetings; provide installation advice) .
Manage development of concept design into detailed design, ensuring it is well optimised and underwritten as required, effectively integrated and approved (ie updates to Design Risk Assessment, calculations, sign-off/approval)
Through the Site Manager and to agreed Company standards, manage contractors, sub-contractors to ensure overall quality and installation is completed in a timely manner, and fulfils contractual obligations (i.e. site management, review meetings, issue resolution, milestone management).
Ensure customers are kept aware of all pertinent project related issues and changes and respond to customer issues and changes as required.
Ensure issues are resolved or escalated according to Company standards and requirements (i.e. sign off drawings, programme issues, variations, requests, technical approvals, payment terms etc.)
Using Navision and other project systems, ensure deliverables and administration are produced and submitted in accordance with Company standards.
