This recruitment is in response to increasing demand for training as end users continue to specify qualified service providers.
Applicants must have a good depth of knowledge of lifting equipment, will ideally hold a teaching and/or recognised training delivery qualification or be able to demonstrate a proven track record in training and instructing. A thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation, specifically LOLER and PUWER, is advantageous. Structured induction and development training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Duties will include:
Delivery of training courses in the UK & overseas as required by our membership
Monitoring of all course material and content, providing feedback to our design and development team
Coaching and mentoring course delegates in preparation for assessments
Organising and planning of training course preparation, set up and delivery
Assisting with the development of new courses
Full UK Driving Licence and passport holder (current)
A suitable training delivery qualification
Practical and theoretical experience of lifting equipment and a background working in the lifting operations environment
Confidently deliver training in a classroom environment, have strong organisational skills and have good time management
Good communication skills both verbally and written, being capable of working under pressure whilst forming good relationships with members, students and colleagues
A willingness to work independently in the UK and Overseas
Be prepared to travel and work away from home
Be willing to work variable hours as may be required regionally
