Our client who specialise in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment alongside low level access (LLA), with
more than 60 years experience in the plant and equipment hire industry, are currently looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join their team in their newly opening depot in Rainham. (The position will initially commence in Canning Town until early 2018 when they relocate to their new branch).

Reporting directly to the General Manager you will have accountability for the management of the warehouse and transport teams, taking full responsibility of day to day operations including the movement of all goods in and out of the branch and ensuring customer requirements are met. This will also include ensuring correct procedures and policies are adhered to by your teams to include adequate stock controls and vehicle compliance at all times.

Knowledge/background required:

Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
Experience using software systems
Experience of working within a warehouse environment and running a transport fleet is essential
Considerable experience of managing a team
Experience of creating and managing processes and procedures
Strong interpersonal communication skills
