Position: Street Works Trainer South East
Reporting to: Training & Quality Manager
Role Objective: This is an exciting opportunity to join the market leader in safety training. With a blue-chip client list, including Balfour Beatty, Kier, Barrett Homes and Anglia Water, courses are delivered nationwide at dedicated training centres and at customer sites. In the role of a Trainer you will be delivering a front-line service to our clients, based on their training requirements.
Identify learners` needs
Provide learners with training at a level and pace to suit their needs
Keep themselves up to date with current legislation
Undertake all necessary preparation, administration and assessment associated with the training
Provide appropriate learning support to enable effective learning
Participate in the planning and improvement of course programmes
Information Advice & Guidance
The assessor will offer advice and support for all candidates, to assist them with choosing and achieving the most suitable training or qualification.
Should additional information be requested that the organisation is able to deliver; the appropriate contact within the organisation would be provided. If the request for information is not delivered by or contained within the organisation then referrals to partner organisations will be offered
Take reasonable care to safeguard their own safety and that of others with whom they work
Will hold all relevant certificates of training in Street Works
Hold an A1 or D32/D33 certificate and have willingness to work towards V1 certificate
Have a wide knowledge and working experience of the industry relevant to the course(s) they train on and a minimum of 5 years occupational work experience pertinent to the qualifications that they are able to train in
A proven assessment track record and experience of holding a caseload of more than 40 + learners
Skills & Attributes:
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK
Excellent people skills and customer focused
Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
Good communication skills
Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Standard office Hours)
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours as travel to training venues nationwide and overnight stays will be required to fulfil the role.
